This is right on time. The way me and my husband are struggling and I just said “SOMETHING has to change.” Let me check these links out, Myleik you are ALWAYS on the ball ❤️
A lot of things! I like how they focused on how black and brown people in our communities and the mental toll that surrounds us who grew up without financial guidance, in low-income households, etc. I feel like that's not addressed enough. They give great steps to understand finance better. Plus, they're on YouTube which is an added bonus.
Myleik you are always ON TIME! I’ve recently landed into some extra money and I’m investing into the market for the first time as an entrepreneur. Your notes on being recession ready and the economy being cyclical is refreshing because it mimics what my financial advisor has been saying. He’s a white man who I ultimately trust but you know how things resonate differently when we hear it from someone who looks like us 💁🏾♀️. So all in all, yes more money talks please!
Love this! Autosaving was one of the first things I learned in my financial literacy journey; someone gave me a book called "The Automatic Millionaire" in college, and I'll always remember the best piece of advice: pay yourself first. It's stuck with me ever since—and helped me really consider what I want to spend money on in terms of big budget items!
This was good! I got some of my favorite finance tips from you years ago that I still follow like not borrowing from people and asking for help instead, and also being mindful of what I purchase like quality vs. quantity.
Perfect timing, as I'm frustrated with my earnings, my (lack of) savings, and my lack of knowledge around it all. Really want to cultivate a relationship with a financial planner/coach/someone (?) but will get these books in the meantime.

You're so welcome. I remember that same feeling. "I can't live like THIS. I don't like the way THIS feels." You can do it! Keep me posted.
love this! thank you for sharing. You Deserve to Be Rich by Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings (Earn your leisure) is a good book to add to the list!
Thanks for the heads up. What moved you most about the book?

Love it! I need to bring that one back. Just ASK for help; don’t borrow.

"Silence is expensive." I'm taking that with me each time I fall back into bad money habits.
“Silence is expensive” was pretty loud …loud and clear! Thank you for your insight and tips.
